After a long trip from Adrian, to Canada, to England, and Italy, we were so excited to arrive. After checking into our hotel, we immediately took a bus to Bergamo to tour and get adjusted to the time change. As soon as we got off the bus, we were taken aback by the beauty of the architecture and scenery. We had the opportunity to explore, and while doing so we each ate a pizza twice the size of our face! After taking a million pictures of the beautiful churches and shopping in the local stores, we got to work at a brand new ice rink, IceLab. We spent the practice feeling the ice and getting our feet underneath us by doing drills and unconnected run-throughs of our programs. It felt good to get moving and into the zone of focusing on what we came here to do — represent the United States in competition. This experience is completely surreal. There are no words to adequately explain just how proud we are to be here and what an honor it is to take the ice as Team USA this weekend. We are beyond thankful for this opportunity. Stay tuned for more updates on our journey and international debut. Go Team USA!
