Today, Nov. 6, marks the 5-year anniversary of Get It Called’s launch. We have grown from a small two-person venture into a full-fledged organization with staff and interns. We are so grateful to all of you who continue to support us. We could not have done any of it without you.
There is no better time than today to launch a new GIC project. Today is the official launch of our GIC Podcast!
This year GIC staff and interns will bring you podcasts available for free on iTunes. Whether you are driving in your car, walking in between classes or working out at the gym, you can plug into GIC to get the latest breaking news as well as longer 15-20 minute episodes about a range of synchro-related topics.
Our news pieces will focus on updating you on competition news and analysis while the longer podcasts will focus on bringing you unique discussions with coaches, skaters and officials. Some of the longer podcasts will focus on themes such as skating internationally, while others will engage a handful of people in a roundtable setting to talk about a pressing topic in the synchro community.
The goal of the GIC podcasts is to diversify our content while keeping you engaged. As always, we are constantly looking for new ways to keep our audience satisfied while also bringing in new readers. We think the podcasts are a good way to engage more experts and synchro enthusiasts, and incorporate them into our news aggregation and storytelling.
We hope you enjoy them. If you have any questions or have an idea for a podcast topic please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Below you will find our very first podcast, which for now, is available on SoundCloud. We will have it up on iTunes for download shortly!
