Bloggers will be responsible for highlighting and covering as much as possible at their designated competition. GIC directors are flexible—we know skaters will be busy preparing for their own performances.
This is a great opportunity for skaters to get involved with the synchronized skating community on another level. Their work will be featured on the Get It Called website, which during competition season, sees an extraordinary amount of visits. Their work will be widely distributed not only on the Get It Called website, but also on its Facebook and Twitter pages.
We are seeking individuals willing to:
-Write about their own experiences at the competition, including practices and competing
-Write about other teams’ performances, including music, dresses, and overall execution
-Write about general competition news, including placements
-Take photos of teams on the ice and off the ice
In addition, Get It Called is seeking skaters willing to submit feature articles about their experiences at the competition. All articles will be highlighted in a special section of the website following each competition.
If you are interested in being a competition blogger or writing feature articles about competitions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with a brief statement about your interest and why you think you are the best candidate for the job.
