At the beginning of a new season, when a team unites for the first time, everyone has the same wish: for the season to be a success. Every team member commits to months of practice at the beginning of the season and everyone hopes for the hours of hard work to be worthwhile by the end. Every team dreams of success. Many teams work for success. Few teams reach success. What makes the difference? Why do some teams accomplish success, and others never do?
We believe that the difference between wishing for greatness and achieving greatness is having step by step plans. A goal is just a wish with a plan behind it. Our team has goals of all sorts: both short term and long term, both team goals and individual goals. To best prepare for what comes our way during the competition season, we’ve been following our plans of overcoming challenges and mastering difficult skills. Success comes when teams and individuals make plans and follow through. It’s simple! Know where you want to go, focus on doing what it takes to get there, and don’t let anything stand in the way of success. This season, we are out to achieve our fullest potential and hope to inspire other teams to do the same.
