Hugs and kisses from Hershey! We arrived at the Giant Center at 4:30 pm so excited to skate our Untouchables short program one last time. Once we walked into the arena, we watched all of the other performers practicing for the upcoming show. It was really cool to see all of these talented skaters together on one rink! After doing our hair and makeup in the locker room, we had a quick fifteen minute practice to get used to skating on a smaller sized rink. Following our practice, we came back to the locker and ran through some of our pre-performance traditions. We tied our skates and shortly after were called out onto the ice. The arena was pitch black when we skated onto the ice and, after we were announced, the rink lit up red, white, and blue. The crowd cheered us on as we skated our last short program of the season!
We were able to watch the rest of the show after our skate. All of the skaters performed amazing exhibition programs and some even skated their programs from this past season!
We loved having the opportunity to skate at Stars on Ice and to represent our discipline of skating at such a great event!
