History: Formed in 2005 to compete in the US Figure Skating Open Adult division, Esprit de Corps Open Adult (EDCO) continues to build their own competitive history to complement that of its sister teams, EDC Adult and EDC Masters. For their 2010-2011 season, EDCO skated to a selection of Cher songs. Highlights of the program included a circle footwork, a crisp triangle intersection, and flowing back spiral lines, all performed with class and style. EDCO skated many strong performances last season, earning gold medals at the 2010 Cape Cod Classic, the 2011 Colonial Classic, and the 2011 Boston Synchronized Skating Classic. They qualified for and were awarded a bronze medal at the 2011 Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships in Lake Placid, NY. In addition, the team was awarded First Place for the 2011 Eastern Synchronized Skating Challenge Series. Under the leadership and vision of coach and skater Dede Wilson, EDCO skaters are dedicated to their sport and dedicated to achieving their best competitive results through training and teamwork. The team actively encourages a positive and supportive team environment, a strong work attitude and attention to detail.
