From U.S. Figure Skating: Rules for each synchronized team level as per the U.S. Figure Skating Rulebook, Rules 4660-4790. All ages are as of July 1 preceding the competitive season. Preliminary: A team of 8-16 skaters. Skaters must be under 12, with the majority of the team under 10.
